Session export: Lightsabers and rocks

You all find yourself on the wonderful planet of Moraband/Korriban. A sith temple is directly in front of you, the shuttle you arrived in taking off the moment the last foot left the craft. You are standing outside with a large set of doors in front of you. The sun burns directly above you as it bakes the sand underfoot. It's a hotter day than usual and even the local wildlife have retreated to the shade, where they refuse to pursue you in the dead heat of a midday Moraband sun. A dry wind whips around and swirls eddies around the door, waiting to finally be entered

Liz, shielding her eyes from the intense sun, looked around to survey the surrounding area. She exhaled deeply, as beads of sweat began to gather on her back and soak through her clothing.

“Why, out of all thee places we could have gone, do you pick someplace this unpleasant?”

“Because here is a Sith’s temple and everywhere else isn’t. “ Elyon said, keeping a close eye on the surroundings of the temple.

Creon’s ability to control self allowed the regulation of his body temperature to keep cool in the hot conditions, even under a body glove and armor. The Dark Side was dense in this place, and clouded his senses from feeling anything else but the spiritual residue of the ancient Sith that once walked these crimson sands.

“This place is scarred by evil. I can feel it.”

He rested his hand on the hilt of his sword. It felt warm and radiated to Creon in response to the energy surrounding them in this place.

“We will make it, we will not succumb to the dark side. Elyon walked up to him and placed her hand on his hand on the hilt.

Creon brushed a strand of hair near her ear to the side. He smiled from behind his visor, and although it could not be seen their love could be felt.

“Are we here for loot?” He asked the group.

“Looks like it.” The young Jedi replied and started walking towards the temple.

“In a way,” replied Aura over comlinks, “you are here to retrieve an item of interest. It is somewhere in the depths of the tomb. May the Force be with you.”

“This place gives me a headache,” Vez grumbled, pausing to light a cigarra off the blade of her training saber. “They sacrifice babies here or something?”

The affection between Creon and Elyon made Liz a tad queasy. “We’ll we certainly aren’t here to watch the two of you get frisky in this hell hole.”

Liz turned towards the doors. “Lets try to get these open.”

“Speak for yourself,” Vez muttered

“Only you would think us indecent. Jedi are not so weak as to be compelled by impulse. We are focused. I ask for your respect.”

Liz waved off Creon. She looked at the doors. “Maybe if we push.” She placed both hands on the doors and pushed.

Elyon turned to Liz at her comment, but then turned back to the temple. “There is strength in unity. And that also applies to couples, but you’re right, we have to get in somehow.”

The door budges a little but its not quite open

The 8ft tall Epicanthix applied his might to the door.

Liz turned towards the group. “Well don’t just stand there watching me. Come help me push this this thing.”

Elyon went to help her.

Creon pushes so hard the doors smack open with a thud and move an inch back the other direction, but they stay open. You see a sandy, dark hallway in front of you.

Turel peered into the darkness, “I believe I’ve seen some horror holonovels start this way.” He grinned.

“Oh, so we’re going to do the sensible thing and leave?” Vez asked flatly. She took another puff from her cigarra.

“Some bad dreams stars like that,” Elyon replied, unfastening the saber from her belt and bringing the sapphire blade to life. She raised her blade and stepped inside.

“Vez has my vote.”

“To be fair some great adventure holos start this way too” Turel added, trying to backtrack from his joke and raise morale.

Creon walks in and turns on the XAD Omnisight on his visor, “Be not afraid. We are more dangerous than anything that dwells within this dusty tomb. Do not let fear hold you back.”

The faint glow of Elyon's lightsaber shows the way ahead, a small platform is visible. As Elyon steps inside, she can see water to her left and a path to her right. There is also something deep in the water, but its not clear yet what.

“What is that?” Vez said, stepping towards the water with her lightsaber out in front of her for light, as if she had not seconds before reflected on what a bad idea it was

Creon’s drone hovered by his side. He sent a command to the droid to fly over towards the objects’ location for a scan.

You can see a lever at the bottom, reflected in the light of Vez's lightsaber.

//Target Scan: Lever// reported the droid from an interface screen in his helmet.

“Yeah, I’m not coming back up if I take a swim.”

“What, your jetpack gets waterlogged?

“Not sure. But it’s too expensive for me to want to find out.”

“Well, I can respect thrift.” The Mirialan padawan squinted into the depths. “Can’t somebody, I don’t know, Force touch it or something?”

Turel reaches out to the Force and senses multiple signatures in the Force off to the right, animalistic in nature

Liz drew her bow, “You go on head guys, I’ll cover you from back here.”

Elyon knelt down and extended her right hand above the surface, focusing on the creature beneath her surface.

Turel pointed toward the right of the party, “there are some creatures nearby. Totally a normal thing to find in an ancient tomb.”

“Wait, what?”

“Barely any vegetation on this rock. What do they eat?”

“Hopefully not adventurers.”

“Oh, they don’t feel very happy to see us.”

Elyon can specifically sense insects in the distance but they refuse to be friends with her

“Just say when,” Creon said with Force lightning crawling at his fingertips as he loaded the lower barrel piezoelectric flame projector on his arm cannon.

Vez sees that it is a lever and she is in a room but that's about it.

Turel sees a mechanism surrounding the lever but no other traps within the room. Turel does not know what the mechanism will do.

Turel attempts to TK the switch but it won't budge

Liz doesn't sense any immediate danger. She sighs obnoxiously that she has to do all the hard work and successfully TKs the switch open. A piece of the stone floor slides away for a moment and the water sucks out mysteriously below. After a few seconds, the stone floor slides back into place again, covering back up the hole. You can see an empty pool that is 20 feet/7 metersish deep.

“Oh. Neat.”

Liz waved her hand over the open space, “There ya go.”

“Alright, boys, who wants to go first?”

Liz can see the bottom of the now empty pool with the lever and the stone slab that will move aside if pulled. She can also see a path leading to the right and hear the skittering of insects.

Creon walks forward ahead of the group with his left arm aimed and his head on a swivel. The Drone he brought hovered nearby and scanned the area as it moved with it’s owner. A small flame was lit like a lighter at the end of his barrel ready to spread fire to any immediate encounter.

“I say we fight the bugs. There doesn’t seem to be much of anything and I don’t know about you but I’m not jumping into some hole with water in it.”

“Wouldn’t be much of a fight, more like an extermination,” Creon remarked.

“Thanks for volunteering. Well off you go then.”

“Then I get first pick on loot,” the Mandalorian nodded and moved forward towards the sound of crawling insects.

“Oh no, I’m not going to get first pick of the bug juice.” Vez raised one vambrace-clad arm in front of her and followed the hulking Mando

Turel moved next to Vez and pulled his lightsaber from his belt without igniting it. “I think we’ll all have bug juice on us by the time this is over.”

As the party entered the room, a buzzing could be heard. Nothing immediately popped out but with each step the buzzing got louder and louder until finally a swarm burst up from the ground around him. Small Pelko bugs the size of beetles flew upwards. Creon successfully dodged the bugs flying at him hit the bugs in front of him with a wall of fire. The remaining Pelko bugs redirected their attention behind him and went after Turel and Vez. Turel successfully dodged but Vez was bit in the left arm, losing all feeling it due to the toxin on the barbs of the bug. Liz hit one of the bugs going for a second bite on Vez and successfully hit it. Half the bugs have been killed. About 30ish remain and continue to hunt as a pack.

Vez kills the swarm directly in front of her. Only a few lingering bugs remain, since they swarmed around the weakest prey there and Vez was injured.

Creon switches barrels and uses the rapid fire blaster on his cannon to shoot at the rest.

Creon kills the rest of the Pelko bugs in the room. The chittering noises go silent.

Turel ignited his lightsaber, filling the surrounding area with a lavender glow and moves to try to place himself between the bugs and Vez

“Scragging choobs,” Vez grumbled, rubbing her numb arm. “Little bastard bit me.”

Liz walked over to Vez and placed her hand on the injured arm. Drawing from the Force, she expelled most of the toxins.“

Turel, Vez, and Creon have bug juice droplets on your clothes and/or armor as a result of all the shooting. You see a path ahead.

“Can you go on Vez? Or do you need to return to the ship?”

A grin broke Liz’s stern demeanor, “I can take you back, so we can get out of here.”

“Oh.” Vez blinked, her cheeks starting to flush. “I’m, uh, a little tingly.”

“You will live,” Creon nodded and moved forward down the path.

“Ugh, fine.”

Creon looked around at the dimensions of the new room. His drone moved ahead while hovering above the surface and scanned the area.

The droid finds the objective at the other side of the room blocked by a solid wall but for a small gap on the left side, from the pov of the characters. There is a ladder going down, where you need to go. The ceiling is very high, about 10 meters high/30 feet. The stone tiles in front of you are seen by everyone.

Creon takes off on his jetpack at low power to hover over the surface and flew towards the gap with the ladder.

Liz sees that glowing stones are set into the stones underfoot, so they are visible. Otherwise the room is poorly lit but more glowing stones are set in the walls for some visibility.

Adenn walks up from behind the group and looks down. “Curious. You know what that makes me want to do?”

“Engage in mindless violence?”

Adenn grins and shakes her head. “I makes me want to go…”

Her face takes a look of severe consternation as she strokes her chin. “Hmmm.”

Creon arrives at the other side and is facing a ladder but no one else is able to join him until they find their way across.

“I’ll scout ahead. Good luck,” Creon relays to the others through the comlink channel in his helmet. He then proceeds down the ladder with his drone following behind him.

the rock skips perfectly across the water and smacks into the wall at the other end. The rock sinks to the bottom about 60 feet down/20 meters down

Vez investigates the buttons but they all look the same.

Liz steps on the left button

A sharp dart shoots out from your left but Liz dodges it expertly by nimbly ducking underneath it. Another tile reveals itself.

“Hell no. Nah ah. Someone else step on a tile. I’m not having any more darts fly at my head.”

Adenn looks around and shrugs. “What the hell,” and steps out onto the middle tile.

A sharp dart shoots out from your right but Adenn dodges it expertly by nimbly ducking underneath it. Another tile reveals itself.

Adenn smirks at Liz with a wink. “That wasn’t so hard.”

Creon snort giggles from the comlink channel.

Vez fumbles through her pocket and pulls out her knuckles. She gingerly tosses them onto another tile and skitters back, hopefully out of range of any darts

Nothing happens.

Adenn sighs and takes a step to the left, bracing for impact.

The sloshing of water can be heard as several stones raise up from the water. After several seconds, a new path appears.

Once he reached the bottom of the latter, Creon looked around for a moment to ensure it was safe. He then removed his helmet because wearing it always seemed to slightly distort his senses. He sat down against the wall next to the latter, closed his eyes, and entered a meditative trance. His brain attuned in frequency with the radiative waves in the Force, and spoke through his mind telepathically into the darkness beneath of this deep place.

Awaken from your slumbering, oh spirits of this temple. Arise from your tombs in the realms of Chaos to consult, should your attachment to this dominion be so great as to manifest your will before me.

Liz scrunched her face as if she’d just tasted something exceptionally bitter and turned away from Adenn with an eye roll. She then caught sight of Creon entering his meditation, and pointed in his direction. With her face now conveying confusion, she placed her other hand on her hip and turned back to the others. “Ahh, what? What the hell is he doing?”

Nothing responds back at you besides a vague sense of contempt.

“Ok, kark this,” Vez mutters. She flicks on the shield on one vambrace, primes her Mitrinomon thrusters, and steps out onto the first platform. Without waiting for the noise of a moving platform or the whir of a dart, Vez uses her boot thrusters to launch herself to the next platform, hoping to hit all four before anything can catch up to her

Creon felt just as contempt at the silence that befell his senses. This place is then truly abandoned by it’s ancestors. Only a hovel for struggling insects in a desolate world. He sighed and put his helmet back on. His mind became more focused on the moment in the area than through depth in the flow of the Force. He looked around through his omnisight in the area at the bottom of the ladder and had his drone shine a light to illuminate any key features worthy of note. His arm cannon was at the ready in anticipation of bolting down any horrors that may come hungry.

Sloshing of water could be heard as multiple pathways were coming up from the water, but not yet visible. While they slowly rose upwards, two things occurred at once. A large panel in the wall slide open as a very large rock careened down the slope towards the group, surely capable of squishing anyone in its way. Simultaneously, a swarm of flying shyracks (12) emerged from the walls and after a moment of orientation went after the group below them.

“Hahayourewelcomebye,” Vez blurted out, jetting over towards the ladder and shooting her way through any shyracks in the way.

Elyon, who was the last to climb up the ladder, reached into the Force and, with the help of Telekinesis, stopped the stone just short of them. “Do you have a chance to send the shyracks into that hole in the boulder so I can knock them over there?” She asked, waiting for a response.

Turel stood ready with his purple lightsaber blazing in the dimly lit passage, shyracks circling above and diving for attacks of opportunity. The Sentinel using wide swings to try to keep the creatures at bay. One brave shyrack got on Turel’s flank and went for what it probably thought was an easy attack. Turel bisected the creature with a precise strike.

Vez shot 4 more shyracks down as she safely landed by the ladder. The shyracks didn't seem to care for her once she passed the barrier wall and was at the ladder.

Lavender light flashed across the passage as Turel felled two more shyracks with a well-timed slash. The beasts just kept coming.

The screeches of dying shyracks echoed into the empty room for which Creon stood. A single heartbeat impulsed fear through the electromagnetic field his nervous system generated. It traveled through the Force to Elyon, to whom was linked with him through Force Meld. A returned impulse was the reassurance he needed to calm his mind and have confidence in the ability of the others.

Creon searched and extended his senses in attempts to find anything. He knew not what for this quest brought him here, only that there is something to obtain. Artifacts, times, and crystals was of little interest, and he couldn’t reason as to the worth of risk in the excavation of an infested temple. The temple was designed with specific patterns and markings, and Creon took note of their design in affiliation with the ancient culture if the Sith. He wandered further into the depth with his optical camouflage system active, and took his time with each step he made.

Liz felt a tingle and an image of a shyrack zeroed in on her, flashed in her mind. Liz dove forward in a roll. The shyack slammed on the ground, let out a loud screech and took back up and dove again at Liz. The Hapan continued to roll in circles, out of the grasp of the beast.

Liz, getting tired of rolling and wondering why people are just wandering off instead of helping, planted her feet. She gritted her teeth while her Rage built then unleashed several bolts of Force lighting at the shyrack. It falls dead in a smoking heap of flesh.

“Elyon, I’ll push the Shyracks back into the hole. You can either block them in or crush them. I don’t are what happens to them, I just want them out of here.”

waits for others to arrive at ladder

“Alright let’s go for it, Liz.“ She answered her and waited for Liz to guide all the Shyracks into the hole. Then Elyon moved the stone back into the start position and blocked them there.

The shyracks are safely locked away behind the rock. The path to the ladder is all that remains.

Everyone safely makes their way to the ladder and now peers upward, the path the ladder is taking them to. Everyone climbs the ladder for some time until you come out into a square room with a single water entryway in the middle going downward

From the corner of the room Creon appeared by disconnecting his optical camouflage system upon witnessing the arrival of his comrades.

“Glad you can make it. Not much I could find here as you can already see.”

I can see everyone!

Glad y’all made it here in one piece

Liz notices that the water in the middle of the room appears to go to a chamber below them. She also notices that wall directly opposite the ladder where they came was meant to be moved. The water passage down appears to go at least 30 feet below them if not a bit longer down

Liz walks over to the water pit. Seeing as the holy sky lady hasn’t been on their side up until this point, she channels the Force to her fingertips. Liz gathers the crackling energy before unleashing it on the water in the pit.

“Smart move,” Creon remarked, “Knowing our luck that could have hosted some tentacle abomination.”

“I’m getting sick of this damn ruin.”

Inhuman cries of pain can be distantly heard, though muddled by the water. Something was hit by that lightning.

“If you’d like I can prime an Mk-6 and turn it to rubble once we’re finished. I see no point in it remaining as is once we’ve found what we’re looking for.”

Creon changed to a more enthusiastic tone, “Shock it again.”

“Toss a few grenades down there while I zap it again. Then we’ll need your light to see what dead thing floats up.”

Creon folded his arms, “Not to question your ingenuity, but my intuition is concerned that an explosive could cave us in, and I’d rather avoid that.”

No more cries of pain can be heard and nothing floats upward immediately into view.

“Whatever it was, it’s either dead or moved on.”

Feeling content that whatever was in the pit was no longer going to be an issue, Liz scans the room for traps or anything else that would made traversing it a bigger pain than it already has been making it this far.

Liz doesn't see another other immediate traps.

Liz walks over to the opposite side of the room, and stands in front of the brown door.

Concerned over another ambush of horrors lurking Turel took a deep breath and focused his awareness on the currents of the Force flowing through the room and immediate area searching for any foreign presence.

You sense what feels like 6 Firaxen sharks below, currently in a coma and unresponsive.

“Whoa guys, I think there are some sharks in the water so be careful. Though they are unconscious I think.”

“Does anybody know what we’re here looking for?”

Nothing happens when Liz stands in front of the door.

Liz knocks on the door

Nothing happens.

“Search the waterway,” Creon said to his drone. The droid moved to hover over the water and lowered itself until it was completely submerged. Periodic flashes of it’s scanning light could be seen from the surface. It moved and explored all it could find within the confines of the depths.

Liz looks for a way to open the door

No mechanism can be found inside the room. Meanwhile, the drone reveals an underwater room with 6 stone columns holding it together. There are 2 levers to pull. Also the 6 sharks are still unconscious and currently just floating around. You can also see past debris from traps floating around in the water. A ladder can be found across the water chamber. It is clear from the droid's findings that a rebreather, or alternative method to expand how long one can breath underwater is required to traverse the underwater chamber.

Creon watched a recording of the drone’s sensor through the visor of his screen. He let out a long and drawn out sigh at the sight of the two levers.

“Does anyone have a rebreather, by chance? We need to go down there.”

“Dank Farrik,” Creon grunted. He called for his droid to return to the surface and began taking off his armor and weapons.

Liz mustered even more of the Force. Reaching out with telekinesis, she attempted to move the door

The door slides enough to fit a finger through before hitting something blocking it, preventing it sliding any further. The other side of the chamber is now viewable, but from a distance.

Aggravated, Liz channels even more of the Force as her Rage builds. She attempts once more to remove the door from the opening

The door slams against the blockage but still doesn't budge. A light screen of sand settles onto the group as the integrity of the building is tested.

Liz stomps her foot, “Ugh, I hate this place!”

He dropped his helmet, and removed the straps that connected the breastplate with the backplate and pauldrons. His jetpack was set aside along with the utility belt and ammo vest. The components of his arm cannon came off with the detachment of his vambraces. Creon used the Force to slowly move the body glove’s zipper line down his back just after taking off his boots. Now only dressed in smooth undergarments he walked over and dipped his toe in the water to get a feel for the temperature.

The temperature is warm.

“I’ll be back,” Creon told everyone. He thought for a moment and then decided to remove his undergarments as so they would not be wet when he returned. He also grabbed one vambrace and used the zipline grappling hook and attached it to his drone.

Liz, unable to open the door and lacking the required device to traverse an underwater hell scape, plops down on the stone floor. Sliding her back against the wall, she gets comfortable, waiting for Creon to emerge or trigger the device locking the door in place.

“Alright, take me to the levers you scanned. Once I have moved them, return me to the surface.”

The drone acknowledged his command with a beep. It then moved at a steady yet rapid pace towards the underwater levers it scanned. Before being submerged Creon took a deep breath and focused on the Force to conserve as much air as possible. He followed the drone attached by the hook line and was dragged at a faster pace than he could swim.

Creon is pulled underwater at a decent clip. After about 30 feet of downward travel, he empties out into an underwater room just like his droid had shown him earlier.

The droid illuminated the area with a bright flashlight and moved it over to where the levers we’re located. Creon used the Force to telekinetically move each of them.

The first lever opens the doors up above, the hidden door moving aside. The second lever slowly extended a path beneath them up above.

Creon made a knocking gesture to the drone, which then proceeded to swim them both back up to the surface of the waterway. He emerged taking a large breath but stayed in the water. He saw the door had been opened and smiled, “Oh hey! Great! Before we move on, I found another path down there. I’d like to have my droid explore it.”

He detached the grappling hook from his vambrace to the droid and sent it to the alternate path underwater.

“You guys can go on ahead if you wish. It will take me sometime to get clothes, assuming there’s nothing down there.”

By this point, the path ahead was fully connected and everyone could cross. The drone comes back and reports that the other ladder just pops you up on the other side of the path.

Creon nodded in an amused understanding and emerged from the pool. He shook himself and matted his hair to get dry but was still dripping.

“Do you have a towel?” he asked Liz.

After the door slid open, she came to her feet. She walked over to the pile of equipment Creon had left. Looking around to make sure nobody noticed, she knelt down, grabbed one of his Thermal Imploders and walked through the door to join the others.

Liz turned back around so to see the soaking Epicanthix. “No.” She continued on her way.

“What about that cloak you have? May I use it?” He asked inquiring about her Sith Zeyd Cloak.

“Nope. Come prepared next time.”

Creon huffed and grumbled about preparing for water on a desert planet. He put on his clothes regardless and donned his armor shortly after.

After putting in his utility belt Creon noticed it felt lighter than usual. He checked all of his belongings and noticed the thermal Imploder had been removed. A grave chill ran down his spine with a dark demeanor. After putting in the rest of his arms and armor pieces he looked around at the remaining party members in the room.

“Brought an Imploder. Anyone see what happened to it?”

Knowing that she couldn’t hide the device for much longer, Liz carelessly tossed the explosive behind her. “It’s not like you’re going to use it anyway.”

“Do you think it was a wise choice to take things from me? Especially ones that could potentially level this temple? People usually get arrested for that sort of thing, and you’ve given me reason not to trust your integrity.”

“Do I look like someone who cares what you think? Hurry up, I’m tired of this temple. We need to get whatever is hiding in this place and get the frick out.”

The rest of the group moves across the newly formed bridge to the other side.

“This will be brought up in a report to the council, including your attitude which has been recorded this entire time. You’re not interested in the work we as Jedi do, you don’t respect your comrades, and you’re as impatient as a youngling.”

Unmoved by his comments, Liz waved, “Just make sure you spell my name right.”

Everyone goes up the ladder into the next level and finds themselves in a mostly straightforward room. Heave stone blocks with space underneath them have been strategically placed along the room. As they get closer they can hear a grinding as a spike wall fills in the gaps not taken by the stone blocks, smashing many slender, durable pointy stabby sticks into the ground once per second. A ladder can be seen from across the room. The remains of those that failed to get there litter the ground and occasionally fall down a grate down the middle (probably helps feed those sharks).

“You ever get the feeling that you’re not welcome?” Vez asked.

grumbles, talks to self “Alrighty, so, if I just take the thing-” unsheathes vibrosword “-and jimmy it around-” wanders to closest stone which exhibits a symptom of a space/gap, wiggles sword underneath (gently) in hopes of finding something “-then maybe, just mayyybe-” pauses after vigorous wiggling “- shit. Nothing?” Gets up and dusts self off

As Dinos checks our the nearest gap, invisible text becomes visible under the first stone block. It reads the following: Answer correctly and you shall be rewarded. 'What does your Canadian friend cooking dinner for you have in common with the Empire from Star Wars?'

blinks in a Canada far far away

“Surely it has something to do with your Pal, Poutine?” A singular galactic cricket could be heard chirping, mocking the unbearable pun

After sevral crickets chirping, you notice that the spikes have gone from slamming down every second to every 2 seconds.

Creon took point and open fired with his Ren Arm Cannon’s rapid fire barrel with a dual fire chamber, and both built-in wrist blasters on his Mandalorian Vambraces. His arms were raised and aimed at each spike he saw.

“I believe I brought more ammunition than there are spikes. Surely they will run out and we can pass through freely without this trap. I do not wish to play their game, for I do not trust the Sith Architect. But if there is something of value that lies within, I won’t falter until it is found.”

The bolts found their target but only left scorch marks or very shallow craters. The spikes crashing down were not hindered from stabbing anyone.

Liz giggled

“So anyone pay attention when they taught telekinesis? I skipped that class.” Said Vez to the group as the spikes crashed down again, still every 2 seconds.

Liz yeets Bexa and herself to each of the nearest riddles

Liz reads the riddle, rolls her eyes and responds “ewoks”

The spikes have gone from slamming down every 2 seconds to every 3 seconds.

Eleceos answered “Woo-key” from back at the starting position.

The spikes have gone from slamming down every 3 seconds to every 4 seconds.

Liz and Turel get yeeted 2 feet away from safety, the spikes are 2 seconds from crashing down.

Liz dives for the safety of the next riddle square

Turel rolls to safety, the sound of spikes crashing down behind him.

Counts on fingers and counts on toes… “1,000…. Millennium….” Looks around for approval, continues “hunting bird, Falcon? Millennium Falcon?”

The spikes have gone from slamming down every 4 seconds to every 5 seconds.

Safely on the platform, Liz reads yet another riddle. “I’d rather be crushed by a spike” she thought. “Later. Darth Later.” she responded.

The spikes have gone from slamming down every 5 seconds to every 6 seconds.

Creon cringes.

“Hey. Um…. Liz was it? I saw the way you yoted Bexa, I could go for a yeeting myself if you’ve got one in the chamber?”

ponders at the successes of Liz and Bexa…… Thinks to self “with each new square, we get a new riddle, right? If I trigger another square, could I trigger a new riddle?”….. “Ok…” Kisses dagger for luck, a faint whistle could be heard as it soon flew through the air, kept afloat by a throw and hope “Yes! Yes! Yes!” Dinos jumped up and down with glee The dagger skidded to a halt within the distanced safety zone “So…… What now?”

A voice from somewhere whispers to the group: What do you call a pirate droid?

chuckles “Pirates? Droids? A ‘Row-Bot?’” silence continued on “Hmmm. ‘The Seven Seas-3-P-0?’” As quiet as ever “Ok. I got this. ”‘Argh-2-D2?’ Final answer. ‘Argh-2-D2?’“

The spikes have gone from slamming down every 6 seconds to every 7 seconds.

“It probably means the unidentified model droid used by pirate captain Gir Kybo Ren-Cha on Tarnoong. That droid had no markings.” Elyon interjected, finally catching up to them and standing at the beginning of the room.

still set in his first safety zone, Dinos had another idea “Ok, ok, ok, I got this. If the knife triggered the previous riddle, then…..” He paused. If thoughts required fuel, there’d be smoke billowing from his ears. “- I can just shoot the squares?” Dinos looked down to his side, realizing the price of his empty knife sheath could have easily been paid by a blast from his pistol “Gahd dammmit! GaHd DaMmMmIt!!!” He looked at the safety zone he previously interacted with, seeing his knife, lay waiting for it’s return. With one fluid quick motion, fueled by frustration at his own incompetence, Dinos shot the uninhabited safety zone directly across from him. Another riddle was announced “Another food related riddle?!?!?!”

The group heard. "What do you call a feast on Ahch-To?"

Liz thought for a moment. Once she was able to drown out the sound of the metal spikes slamming into the stone floor, the answer came to her. “A smorgas-porg” she yelled.

The spikes have gone from slamming down every 7 seconds to every 8 seconds.

“Great, what are we going to do now? Do we have any chance of stopping them?” She asked Elyon who found the development of the situation very serious.
