Session export: blowing off steam

Alright. So. Elly found herself in front of the astounding skyscraper informally known as Tal Tower. The large Firrerreon woman took a long breath. This would end up being the third time she had visited this place since the sudden departure of her lover, and she dreaded every moment of it. But it’s where one of the only people she liked usually was.

The trip through the building was easy enough. The lawyer said a polite but curt hello to all of those she knew before. She kept her cool until she made it to a turbolift, thankfully making it into the elevator without any company. The moment the door closed, she reached into her pocket and thumbed the small charm Sulla had made her, something she often did to ground herself. She wasn’t a stranger to stressful situations, but this was the first time in her life she had to deal with heartbreak and the lingering emotions that came with it.

She exited the lift with a renewed calmness, taking a straight line to Erinyes’ office. She pushed the door open with little to no fanfare and walked on in, heading towards the Zeltron’s desk. “I liked your business office more,” She commented

“Yeah, that’s the fancy corporate one. In here, the only really nice digs belong to the Chancellor. Unfortunately, it’s also got information I can’t access from outside, so…” The Zeltron shrugged and took a pull from the drink on her desk while she tapped away at her terminal. “I’ll just be a minute. What’s the plan for tonight?”

Elly walked forward and took a seat on the Zeltron’s desk with a resigned sigh “I was thinking we take a stroll through Holmes and blow off some steam before getting some drinks.”

“That sounds like fun. Got anyone in mind, or just whatever trouble finds us first?”

“I was thinking we walk around a couple hotspots and just see what we can find, unless you’ve got someone?”

“I haven’t had time to look.” She finished up with the document she was tapping at and shut off her terminal. “Ready when you are.”

“I’m ready.” She said, pushing off of the desk “Got your stuff with you or do we have to swing by your place?”

“I am my stuff.” She blinked. “That… make more sense in my head.”

“I mean you are the stuff but I’m not sure if you’re your stuff” she chuckled, putting two and two together.

“Flatterer.” She grinned. “No, I just mean I carry that kind of stuff with me all the time. The robes are armoured, I always carry my lightsabers, and fists are fists, y'know?”

Elly shrugged and walked over to the door, opening it on up. “Oh, I know, and I envy it. It’s such a hassle to have to deal with the armor and then the grenades, and don’t even get me started on having to squeeze into a damn body glove.” She shook her head, lightly chuckling.

“But you look so good in a body glove.” Erinyes ducked into a desk drawer to grab a pair of reinforced gloves, then followed Elly out. “Your speeder?”

The Firrerreo smirked at the comment, a faint silver blush adorning her cheeks. She was good at taking compliments from strangers but she knew Erinyes which made it a bit more difficult for her sheltered brain to handle. “If you’re alright with my speederbike we can use mine, unless you wanna use your own speeder?”

“Your bike is perfect. Saves you having to give me directions.”

“Awesome” she smiled “Just follow me and we’ll have some fun” and the pair entered an elevator and all that

Alrighty. So. After a fun little ride from Tal Tower to Elly’s warehouse, the pair pulled into the barren looking building with automatic doors closing behind them. Elly parked up the speeder bike and dismounted it, walking over to her workbench.

The hideout had undergone many a change since she had first started her late night escapades. What was once just a cluttered space with a cot, workbench, and storage bins had turned into something of a second home to the vigilante. Now, small standing lamps lit up the areas that mattered. There was a large computer console in the middle of the room flanked by two large workspaces, one for armor and weapon maintenance and the other reserved for more analog ways of planning and whatever lawyer work she had left over for the night. Her shoddy cot had been replaced with a slightly larger and more comfortable futon for her to rest on or sleep on as needed.

“Welcome to my home away from home,” Elly said

“It’s nice. Very ‘superhero hideout’.” Erinyes grinned. “Who do you have planned for tonight?

“Superhero hideout??” Elly asked, sounding playfully offended “I’ll have you know I am no superhero.” She arrived at her lil workspace and began searching around for something “Superheroes have powers and fun outfits. I don’t. And As for tonight I was thinking we’d spice it up, try something a bit different tonight.”

“Well, I’m always up for trying something new.”

“Well, we’ve fought plenty of punks for fun but you ever take down a drug deal before?”

“Does being taken down in a drug deal count?”

Elly chuckled, a wide grin on her face “No, no it does not” she grabbed a trunk and opened it on up, her armor residing inside “Ever wondered what it’s like to be on the other side of it all?”

“You mean being a vice cop?”

“I wouldn’t call what we’re about to do the same as that, but it’s close enough yeah”

“Mmm… depends. I’ve always been a big believer that people should be free to do what they want as long as it doesn’t hurt anyone else. But if they’re doing something like getting kids hooked or roughing people up, yeah, that’s a problem.”

“Don’t worry, I save some fun ones for you. They’re the types to deal to kids and they tend to steal medical grade stuff from people too sick to defend themselves. Theyre next level assholes.” She took her jacket off and grabbed the body glove out of her trunk

“Oh, so it’s a moral beatdown instead of just a fun one. Cool.”

“I mean if you aren’t interested that’s fine, we can beat some normal bad guys” she quickly backtracked

“No no, I’m fine with a moral beatdown. It saves me the trouble of people complaining about the fights I pick.” She grinned.

“Okay good” Elly said, looking mildly relieved she abruptly walked off to somewhere secluded to change, yelling across the warehouse “Make yourself at home, I’ll be right back!”
